Mike grew up in Harpswell, Maine. He graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Mike graduated cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law in 2020 and was awarded the Faculty Significant Achievement Award. Mike was the Editor-in-Chief of the Ocean and Coastal Law Journal, competed on Maine Law’s Trial Team, was an active member of the law school’s student veteran group, and volunteered as a mentor with the Portland Mentoring Alliance. Mike’s practical experience included internships with the Maine Bureau of Consumer Credit Protection and Unum Life Insurance Company of America. Mike finished up his law school experience as a Student Attorney at the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office.
Mike joined the Maine Army National Guard during his senior year of high school. Mike served for six years, which included a nine month long deployment to Afghanistan. There, Mike served as a member on a convoy security team that escorted personnel and equipment throughout eastern Afghanistan. Upon returning from overseas, Mike enrolled at USM and held internships with the U.S. Senate in Portland and Washington, D.C, as well as the U.S. Marshal Service in Portland.
Mike’s main practice areas include civil litigation, banking & commercial finance, real estate, and estate planning & probate administration. Mike is admitted to practice in all Maine state courts.
Mike currently lives in Westbrook with his wife Alix and their daughter Sophie.
