Laura A. Maher

Partner

Laura was born and raised in Casco, Maine. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern Maine in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Criminology. Laura graduated cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law in 2016, where she was the Research Editor of the Ocean and Coastal Law Journal, Chair of the Women’s Law Association, and an active member of the Maine Association of Public Interest Law. While in law school, she worked as a Judicial Extern for the Maine District Court in Lewiston and as a Student Attorney at the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office.

Laura’s main practice areas include civil litigation, criminal law, and employment. She works primarily in matters involving personal injury, including automobile accidents and slip and falls. Laura is admitted to practice in all Maine state courts and the United States District Court for the District of Maine.

Laura currently resides in Windham, Maine with her husband, two children, and two dogs.
