John J. Wall, III is a Maine native, born in Bangor and raised in Lewiston. He earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and graduated with honors from the University of Maine School of Law, where he was a member and Assistant Editor of the Maine Law Review. John is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Maine, as well as in the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
John is a member of the Maine State Bar Association, the Maine Trial Lawyers Association, and the Defense Research Institute. John’s primary area of practice is civil litigation. Within that rubric, he has substantial experience as trial counsel in cases involving civil rights claims, employment disputes, personal injuries, land disputes, and municipal law issues. He also analyzes and litigates insurance coverage questions and he maintains an active appellate practice. Since 2015, John has been listed in New England Super Lawyers for his work in civil litigation.
When he is not practicing law, John enjoys running (when his knees will allow it), ice hockey (again, knees permitting), playing guitar (dreadfully), and doting on his three beautiful children.
