Austin W. Clark

Associate

Austin joined Monaghan Leahy after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law. While in law school, he served as the Executive Editor of the Ocean and Coastal Law Journal and received the Cali Excellence for the Future Award in both Taxation I and Real Estate Transactions. Austin was an intern with the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Maine and held externships with the Portland District Court and WEX, Inc.

Austin moved to Maine to attend Husson University where he was a pitcher on the baseball team. Before attending law school, he spent nearly a decade in law enforcement where he served on a SWAT team and was a Special Agent on a drug enforcement task force.

Austin splits his practice between civil litigation, working primarily in all areas of insurance defense, and the firm’s real estate and business services practice. He is admitted to the Maine Bar.

Austin lives on Long Island in Casco Bay with his wife and daughter.
